QA <source id>, <association type identifier>, <target id>
- The ID# of the object to list associations for. For example, to list all items in a backpack, the backpack would be the source ID
<association type identifier>
- The name of the type of association, such as IN, MARRIED, UNDER, etc.
- The ID# of an object to list associations for.
This is a CLI command that lists all associations that match with the query. Use 0 in place of source id, association type and/or target id to match any type.
If there's a table that is ID# 345, and a sword that is ID# 999, and it is desired to learn which table that a sword is on, use:
: QA 0 ON 999
If instead it's desired to learn which items are on the table, use:
: QA 345 ON 0
To learn which character nodes are associated with the "married" association, use:
: QA 0, married, 0 QA LISTBEGIN 0 : "Source, Association Type, Target" QA LISTELEMENT 0 : "5252000002, "married", 5292000004" QA LISTEND 0 : "End of Associations"
The above shows that the two character nodes 5252000002 and 529200004 are associated by marriage (recognized only in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts).
