Numeric Field Control Classes

The three types of controls work together and must be connected by a common parent which can be a grandparent (or more) of the Buttons and DragZone, but must be the direct parent of the input box (GUINumericField). Only one such input box will be modified by this system. If there are multiple input boxes under the parent, only the first one will be used.

GUINumericField

An input box which allows only numbers. It must be the direct child of a GUI Control which is in the line of parentage of all of the other related numeric GUI Controls.

This structure uses all of the parameters of GUIPanel and GUITextInputBox, plus:

Field Subclass or Datatype Default Settings Description
forceInteger boolean false if true, will not allow decimals
increment float 0.0 value by which GUINumericUpDownButtons will increment field
range minMax min=0
max=0
specifies the minimum and maximum values of the input box

GUINumericUpDownButton

This controls the value of the GUINumericField input box according to that control's increment field.

Field Subclass or Datatype Default Settings Description
goesDown boolean FALSE When TRUE, increments the GUINumericField. When FALSE, decrements it

GUINumericUpDownDragZone

This control acts as a slider, which changes its relevant GUINumericField via vertical click-and-dragging.

It has the exact same fields as any other GUIPanel control.
