What kind of Fx editing tools exist? Specifically the particle system editor.
Particle effect systems are created and edited in-place in HeroEngine. We use a parametric system of emitters and particles with hundreds of features which will be familiar to anyone who's worked with these systems. Like all of these tools, they are live and collaborative in HeroBlade.
The Fx System is an event-based system for combining particle effects, audio, animation, targeting information, states, etc. into an actual "effect" that can be replayed on the client. This is perfect for spell effects, etc.
