The term Design pattern generally refers to a way of standardizing programming practices in HSL, to address a specific problem. The term may refer to:

Overview page which defines what design patterns are, and gives brief descriptions of the different kinds
How to set up "listeners" which send out notifications of changes to data or events
A way of designing software architecture that separates between the data model and the UI view
