Account Management System

 Overview

This web-based system will allow you to manage various aspects of your account.  It will also provide a listing of downloads available to you.  In addition, if you are a group administrator, it will allow you to add new accounts to your group, as well as disabling accounts that are no longer needed.

Accessing the Account Management System

All active user accounts have access to the Account Management System.  Please use the following URL to login:  https://account.heroengine.com

Overview

The landing page for all users.  Your navigation options should be listed on your left.  Most users will only see the following options:  Home, My Account, Downloads, Help and Logout.  Group administrators will be presented with additional links to the groups they are allowed to manage.

My Account

The account detail page.  It presents you with basic information about your account.  It also has a list of options available to you.  At this time the only option is "Edit Account".

My Account > Edit

This is where you would make changes to your account.  Options available to you are:

Once you made the proper changes, click "Submit Changes".  This will take you to a confirmation page if successful, or an error will be displayed with information on why the request failed.  To return to the account details page, click "Cancel".

Downloads

At the top of the page you will be presented with links to the following:

These two downloads are required for some users.  Below this is a listing of downloads available to your account based on your group subscription.

Group Management

Group administrators will be presented with an additional page for each group they are managing.  This page will display some basic information about their group.  It will also display a listing of accounts attached to this group.  There is also a link which allows the admin to add a new account to this group.

Group Management > Add New Account

This is where you would add a new account to your group.  To add an existing account from outside of your group to this group, you will need to contact support.  Fields:

Once you have completed the form, click "Add New Account to Group".  This will take you to a confirmation page if successful, or an error will be displayed with information on why the request failed. To return to the account details page, click "Return to Group".

Group Management > Edit Account

Unlike the regular account edit page, this page displays the different options linking an account to a group where you can modify the permissions for all users within your group. The Following are the different titles you can assign to users within your group and the permissions associated with each title.

Administrator(Admin)
Developer(Dev)
Quality Assurance(QA)
Beta Tester(Beta)
Customer(Cust)
GameMaster(GM)

Once you have completed the form, click "Submit Changes".  This will take you to a confirmation page if successful, or an error will be displayed with information on why the request failed. To return to the account details page, click "Return to Group".
